Job Summary:
InPact Partners is looking for a committed Investment Analyst to support the firm’s investment decision-making and contribute to its continued growth. The position will be part of the Investment Research Team and report directly to the Head of Fund Research. The primary focus of this role is to contribute to due diligence efforts, manager and fund monitoring, and the development of investment insights that drive informed decisions. It is expected from this position to take increasing ownership of individual research work streams and develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships over time.
As an Investment Analyst, you will take on a progressively independent role within our Investment Research Team. You will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence and supporting manager and fund monitoring efforts. You will play a key role in synthesizing data, evaluating investment opportunities and risks, and communicating the analysis and conclusions to senior team members. Over time, you will develop relationships with external fund managers and take on full responsibility for investment due diligence processes, including presenting findings to the Investment Committee.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis of private market investment opportunities
- Contribute to and manage specific components of the investment due diligence (IDD) process
- Support ongoing monitoring, reporting, and performance assessment of portfolio investments
- Perform comprehensive market research and benchmarking to inform investment decisions
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior team members and the Investment Committee
- Undertake thematic research projects related to private markets and fund strategies
- Assist senior team members in building and maintaining relationships with external fund managers, both within and beyond the InPact portfolio
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant full-time professional experience in private markets, due diligence, investment banking, or similar
Prior work experience in Real Estate/Infrastructure investing or advisory considered as significant advantage
- Solid understanding of capital markets, investment products and company-level financials
- Excellent skills in Excel/PowerPoint, experience with think-cell or other relevant softwares considered as an advantage
- General knowledge and interest in supporting technologies/AI considered as an advantage
- Relevant university studies, for example in finance, business, engineering, or similar fields
- Fluency and full professional proficiency in English, other languages considered as an advantage (e.g., French, German)
- You must be a Swiss resident or hold the right to work in Switzerland (such as EU/EFTA citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit).
